Several anti-loosening principles of DIN 25201 Wedge Lock Washers

The DIN 25201 Wedge Lock Washers is one of the important anti-loosening components that is essential in industrial assembly. It is one of the fastening connections with a higher safety level.

1. The installation of DIN 25201 Wedge Lock Washers is very simple. Just assemble the inner helical tooth surfaces of the two washers relative to each other and place them between the nut and the connecting material. The radial ridges on the outside of the nut will connect with the metal material.

2. When the nut is tightened, the radial convex surface on the outside of DIN 25201 Wedge Lock Washers meshes with the contact surfaces at both ends, and the slope angle of the helical tooth surface on the inside of the washer is greater than the bolt thread angle.

3. When the bolt is elongated due to mechanical vibration, the nut will rotate loose. The friction force of the outer radial convex surface of the self-locking washer is greater than the friction force between the inner helical tooth surfaces. In this state, DIN 25201 Wedge Lock Washers will only allow the relative displacement between the inner helical tooth surfaces to generate lifting tension.
